The CEREMONY
3:00PM SHARP
RIGHT BEFORE THE
RAIN...
We had a lot of fun planning the ceremony. It was so special to have Roderick Edwards, a long time friend of mine coming up in Church to officiate the marriage. The Wedding Party was full of travellers flying in from Taiwan, Paris, Edinburg, and Tokyo. Some didn't make it, but we felt blessed for those who beared the hiked prices, due to Kartel and the Christmas season, and came anyway. Peter, Kai's best man came despite having his own wedding only a few days after. The song choice for the walk was suggested by our songbird, Bunny Rose, and I Can't Help Falling in Love with You was sang by the groom himself as Teresa-Rae walked down the aisle. It didn't quite match my dress, but Rae wore Aunty Juliet's veil because she was ill and wasn't able to make it despite her best intentions. It was funny to hear Grandma and Aunty Janet narrate the procession near the camera (catch that in the video below). Thank you to the many who came to us personally to tell us that you appreciated our vows. We take communication seriously, and our vows reflected many conversations, journals, letters and prayers we've shared together. The end dance was choreographer together by the Bride and her Maid of Honour, Kodi-Anne Brown, who then whipped the rest of the weary travellers into beat. We only had one proper morning to practise it altogether.

My love for you is like the raging sea,
So powerful and deep it will forever be.
Through storm, wind, and heavy rain,
It will withstand every pain.
